Exploring Faith
There are a few things that are particularly important to us. We try and make these things a priority focus.
New to Christianity
We appreciate that many of the people who visit our church are quite new to Christianity. If this is your story, you're welcome here. You're welcome to attend our church service, or any of our other activities, and just observe, or if you want to jump right in and do what we're doing, go your hardest. If you have any questions, we're happy to answer them. Some great steps to finding out more about Christianity: attend church several times, read sections of the Bible (it's like a library with 66 different books, a good place to start is Mark or Luke, then Acts, Genesis is helpful too, look up the index at the front to find where each book starts), attend an Alpha course as a beginning step, and try adding prayer into your daily routine. Please make yourself known to our welcome team when you arrive, or one of the leaders you see up on stage, we'd love to meet you and help you discover more. Attending church, reaching out to Christians, and learning about God is worth the investment. You are so welcome here regardless of where you are in your faith journey.
Alpha
Alpha is a series of relaxed, no-pressure sessions exploring life's big questions and the basics of Christianity, food, a short talk, and honest conversation in a small group, no assumed background, no follow-up pressure, just space to ask whatever you actually want to ask.
Alpha creates space for people to ask questions, share stories, and explore the Christian faith together. Whether you’re curious about life and meaning, or helping others explore it, Alpha is a place for everyone.

Discovery Group
Throughout the year we regularly host Discovery Connect groups, usually as a follow-up to Alpha, for anyone wanting to discover more about who Jesus is and the life he offers. These groups use a simple Discovery Bible Study approach, reading a passage together and talking honestly about what it says, no assumed background or Bible knowledge needed, just an open conversation. Runs Tuesday nights. Registration Link
God’s Story
Every story of faith fits inside a much bigger one. From creation, to the cross, to the promise of everything made new, God has been writing a story of rescue and relationship since the very beginning, and Jesus is where it all comes together.
Baptism
Baptism is a public declaration of faith, not a private ritual, a way of saying out loud what's already true in your heart: the old life is gone, and a new one has begun in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 6:3-5). We practise believers' baptism by immersion, for anyone who has put their trust in Jesus and wants their friends and family to see it. It's not what saves you, your faith in Jesus does that, baptism is the testimony that follows. If you're considering it, we'd love to walk with you through a short preparation process covering what baptism means, writing your own testimony, the Holy Spirit's role in your new life, what it means to belong to a church family, and what it looks like to live as a disciple day to day. Get in touch with the office or speak to any of our pastors to get started and pick a date.
